Sandon Fraser: “I believe we need to take a closer look at the connection between how we physically and mentally feel. Injuries are a normal part of life. Some are caused by us and some are caused by others, some heal right away and others seem to never go away but there are things that we can do to help with the healing process. This holistic approach to counselling explores the way that we think and feel and the connection between the two. My education is in counselling psychology with a focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness and I have additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I have completed training in Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which further supports the link between how we think and how we feel. When not working as a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I volunteer as a director and coach with Coquitlam Little League and spend time with friends and family; playing boardgames, watching movies, exercising or other activities around Vancouver.”
