Helping clients with PTSD, Chronic Pain, Chronic Illness, Anxiety, Depression and issues related to the balance of mind/body functioning.
Megan Hughes is a Registrant of both the College of Psychologists of BC, and the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She is also a member of the BC Psychological Association. She is both a Registered Psychology Assistant and a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Her practice focuses on reducing the physiological symptoms associated with PTSD, chronic pain and chronic illness in her clients, and in promoting healthy coping strategies for the future.
She works to overcome anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and loss in adults and adolescents. Though these issues present differently across developmental ages, typically the underlying issues are the same.
She uses EMDR, CBT, Clinical Hypnosis and sensory awareness techniques primarily with adults and adolescents.
